Syrian Committee for Human Rights – MAD and Kurdish Organization for Defending Human Rights and Public Freedoms in Syria – DAD report that Hassan Abdel-Kader Nassan was arrested by Security Services in the province of Aleppo, on 27 September 2010.  Hassan Abdel-Kader Nassan,  born in 1979, and from Afrin is isolated from the outside world, and there is no information about where he is, why he was arrested or the reason for his detention. Human Rights Organization in Syria – MAF and Kurdish Organization for Defending Human Rights and Public Freedoms in Syria – DAD report that a patrol of the Hassakeh branch of Political Security raided the home of Muslim Hussein Abbas in Derbasiyah on Sunday, 12 September 2010. He was taken to an unknown destination, and there has been no news of him since that time.

There was no court order produced at the time of the arrest.

Muslim Hussein Abbas was born in 1975, he is married and has five children.

MAF and DAD condemn the continuing unlawful and arbitrary arrests of Kurds by the Syrian authorities.

DADKurdish Organization for Defending Human Rights and Public Freedoms in Syria –DAD reports that a patrol of the State Security Branch in Qamishli arrested Emad Askan Ahmed at about 11pm on Friday 27 August 2010, without a warrant or court order. He was taken to an unknown destination, and his whereabouts remain unknown at the time of writing.

Emad Askan Ahmed  born 1975, from the Qamishli area is married with six daughters. He is a contractor, and is suffering from kidney disease. Read more
