Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: Final death toll for Monday 22/10/12: More than 130 Syrians were killed. The dead include: 61 unarmed civilians (including 8 children), 31 rebel fighters, 1 defected soldier, 1 defected major, 7 unidentified martyrs, 3 unidentified fighters, and at least 37 regime forces.61 Unarmed civilians:
- In Reef Dimashq 25 were killed. 5 civilians, including a woman and a child, were killed by bombardment and gunfire in the Harasta town. 1 was killed by bombardment on the Daraya city. 9 civilians, including 2 children, an unidentified man, and a woman, were killed by bombardment on the Outaya town of Reef Dimashq. 2 civilians, from the Ma’adamiya town, were found dead after their detainment by a military checkpoint in the town. A man, from the city of Duma, died of wounds he received by torture during his imprisonment in the Syrian regime prisons. 4 civilians, including a child, were shot by sniper in the towns of Duma, A’rbeen, and al-Zabadani. 2 civilians, one of them was unidentified, were shot by regime forces in the towns of Yalda and Qara. A man, from the Misraba town, was shot by regime forces in Damascus city.
-In Aleppo Province 10 were killed. 2, including a child died due to wounds they received during bombardment on the Furdos and Masaken Hanano neighbourhoods. 3, including a child were killed by bombardment on the Masaken Hanano, al-Kalasa, and Bustan al-Qasr neighbourhoods. 3 civilians, including a child, were shot by sniper in the A’miriya and Bab Antakia neighbourhood. 1 unidentified corpses was found in the Salah al-Deen neighbourhood. In Reef Aleppo, a civilian, from the Hayan town of Reef Aleppo, was found dead.
-In Dera’a Province 5 were killed. A child was killed by bombardment on the Mzeireb town, at midnight of Sunday-Monday. 4 men were summarily executed in the town of Busra al-Sham, according to activists from the area.
-In Deir Izzor Province 7 were killed. 1 civilian was tortured to death after his earlier detainment by regime forces in the Buqrus town of Reef Deir Izzor. 5 were killed by bombardment on the Hseiniya village of Reef Deir Izzor. A man was shot by regime forces in the Deir Izzor city.
-In Hama Province 4 were killed. A woman died, effected by injuries she received during bombardment on the village of al-Hamidiya in Reef Hama, before yesterday. A civilian, from the Abi al-Fida’ suburb of Hama city, was tortured to death after his detainment by regime forces. 1 was shot by sniper in the Hama city. 1 was killed by bombardment on the Sarmaniya village of Reef Hama.
-In Tartus Province 1 was tortured to death after being detained by regime forces in Banyas city.
-In Homs Province a young man was killed when shells fell on the neighbourhoods of Homs al-Qadeema (old Homs).
-In Damascus 2 were killed. A woman, from the Jobar neighbourhood, was killed by bombardment on the Barza neighbourhood. An unidentified civilian was found dead in the neighbourhood of al-Qadam.
31 Rebel fighters:
- In Reef Dimashq 9 rebel fighters were killed. 4 were killed during clashes with regime forces in the Harasta town. 5 were killed during clashes with regime forces in the Douma city and the towns of Madaya and A’rtuz.
- In Idlib province 9 rebel fighters were killed. 6 were killed during clashes with regime forces in Reef M’aret al-Nu’man and the towns of Harem and Jusr al-Shughur. 3 died of wounds they received earlier during clashes with regime forces in the Harem town and Reef M’aret al-Nu’man.
-In Homs Province 4 rebel fighters were killed. 3, from the Qseir city, were killed, one of them during clashes with regime forces, and the other 2 during clashes with regime forces. 1, in the Talbeesa town, was killed while testing a locally made rocket.
-In Aleppo Province 7 fighters were killed. 4 fighters were killed during clashes with regime forces in the city of Aleppo. 3 were killed during clashes in the Hayan town of Reef Aleppo.
-In Dera’a Province 1 rebel fighter was killed during regime forces’ bombardment on the Tafas town.
-In Deir Izzor Province a fighter, from the Khareeta town of Reef Deir Izzor, was killed during clashes with regime forces.
-A defected soldier was killed during clashes with regime forces in Reef Dimashq. A defected Major was killed during clashes with regime forces in Reef Aleppo.
-3 unidentified fighters, including a rebel leader, were killed during clashes in the perimeters of the Wadi al-Dayf encampment in Reef Ma’arat al-Nu’man of Idlib Province.
-News were received about 5 deaths by sniper fire in the Bab Jneen neighbourhood of Aleppo city, the discovery of 7 unidentified cuffed corpses, shot, near the Sanamein town of Reef Dera’a, and 8 death by gunfire and bombardment on Reef Dimashq.
-Not less than 37 regime forces were killed in several Syrian Provinces: 17 Idlib, 2 Dera’a, 6 Aleppo, 3 Homs, 2 Hama, and 7 in Reef Dimashq.
