Fatima Hawool, Mustafa Ismail, Tayfur Ibrahim in Court

The Syrian Committee for Human Rights – MAD reports that the second military investigation judge in Aleppo heard the case of Fatima Ahmed Hawool [case 500 of 2010] who is accused under Article 267/288 of the Penal Code of Syria, and sent her case for trial to the Military Criminal Court in Aleppo.  She was arrested on 12 March 2010.

The hearing is scheduled on 26 September 2010 for the trial of lawyer Mustafa Ismail, in the Military Criminal Court in Aleppo. This hearing is for his cross examination.  He was arrested on 12 December 2009.

Tayfur Ibrahim will be brought for sentencing before the Military Criminal Court in Aleppo on 26 September 2010, in accordance with Article 278 of the Penal Code.. He was arrested on 17 March 2009.

The Syrian Committee for Human Rights – MAD demands the release of all political prisoners and prisoners of conscience, and the abolition of the State of Emergency, and unfair trials in Syria.
