About SKS

International Support Kurds in Syria Association – SKS began in September 2009 and is based in UK.

Our particular concern is that Kurds in Syria experience continuing, and we would argue increasing human rights abuses whilst living in their homelands.

Aim:

To work in collaboration with individuals and organisations to bring about change for Kurds in Syria, until they have their basic human rights.

Objectives:

  • We will invite people to become members of the email list if they are actively involved in working towards the aims of the Association so that information, ideas and opportunities for action can be created and shared, publicising and promoting our work;
  • To offer speakers in addition to (when possible) organising meetings, training courses and events;
  • To work alongside with similar groups,  and to exchange information and advice with them;
  • To take any other action that is lawful, which would help SKS to fulfil its aims.
